Dr Nasim Ashraf is a US-Board certified internal medicine specialist with over 35 years of experience in the United States as a practicing physician. Dr Ashraf is also US-Board certified in Nephrology and Hypertension and has held a lifelong interest in holistic medicine and the integration of advanced Western medicine with Eastern healing traditions. He’s also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and holds a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine.

In 2011 Dr Nasim Ashraf founded DNA Health Corp, a Maryland registered healthcare company with a vision to offer personalized health & wellness lifestyle medicine based on an individual’s DNA Genetic Blueprint. Since 2013, DNA Health Corp has operated a state of the art Health and Wellness clinic in UAE and plans to expand regionally in the near future.

Between 2002 and 2008, Dr Ashraf was the Minister of State and Chairman National Commission for Human Development, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, Pakistan. During this role he managed a team of 70,000 staff and over 200,000 volunteers to design, develop and implement social sector reform programs in the areas of primary education, literacy, primary healthcare and sustainable livelihood in all 116 districts of Pakistan.

Dr Ashraf is credited with founding multiple not-for-profit organizations in the United States including Human Development Foundation of North America (HDFNA), Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America (APPNA), Pakistani Americans Public Affairs Committee (PAC PAK) and Americans for Peace and Justice (APJSA). In 2006 he received the UNESCO’s International Literacy Award and the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Star of Distinction) for outstanding public service from the President of Pakistan. In 2002 he was awarded the Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Award from the American College of Physicians. He has published scientific papers and appeared on major television networks and media.
